Networks
Networks have been greatly affected by advances in technology giving us much higher performance by allowing more data to be available in more places than ever before.
Being on the forefront of the PLC, HMI and Drive technologies, Pacificon is also completely conversant with all the latest communication networks as shown in the diagram below.
We have designed and implemented systems from simple applications with only a couple of nodes, up to a complete mill network using several different network topologies. Proper network design and management is key to a successful system. We will choose the appropriate network hardware and software for your mill to ensure years of trouble-free performance.

One of the more recent projects we designed and commissioned utilized Ethernet, Ethernet I/O,
SERCOS (Fibre-Optics), DeviceNet and ControlNet networks as required to suit the equipment
being controlled or accessed. See the Legend (lower right) for a description of the Network
